Reimbursement

Our reimbursement process is highly flexible, based on your schedule and preferences. You can choose to receive one check after all the work is complete, or break it up into multiple payments (maximum of three) as different aspects of the project are finished.

  1. After you’ve completed each project component and paid your contractor(s), submit a reimbursement request form — along with photos of the work and receipts and invoices for eligible expenses.
  2. We’ll review the reimbursement paperwork and contact you with questions.
  3. For certain programs, we’ll complete an inspection before approval.
  4. After we’ve approved the reimbursement request, you’ll get your check in the mail.

The reimbursement process may take up to six weeks, but participants usually receive their check a week or two after submitting the form.

Everyone was super willing to help and informative. Obviously, the reimbursement is the best part though!
